Chapter 1: The Spark of Inspiration

As a seventh grader, I found immense joy in reading the poems from my course book. This passion inspired me to recreate those poems and compose my own, often drawing inspiration from my surroundings—capturing themes of childhood, family, and love.

An unexpected opportunity arose during my 12th-grade year when my English teacher announced a surprise essay competition. We were asked to write a four-page essay on the topic: "Generation Gap: a boon or bane?" Coming from a family that spanned three generations, I felt uniquely equipped to tackle this subject.

To my astonishment, this was an inter-school event, and I secured second place among numerous participants from various schools in my area. The reward? My first salary of 5000 INR. This achievement left my Indian parents deeply moved, as it was a significant amount earned through my writing prowess. They decided to keep this sum as a cherished reminder of my inaugural earnings.

Chapter 2: The Journey Begins

From that moment, my journey as a writer truly commenced. In addition to poetry, I began journaling regularly. Since that day, my passion for writing has only grown stronger, leading me to fill countless notebooks with poetry, essays, and diary entries. I even ventured to write a novel, although I paused after completing around 8 to 9 pages.

I found myself surrounded by a wealth of written material scattered across diaries, notebooks, and the notes app on my iPhone. With so many thoughts swirling in my mind, I yearned to consolidate my work and channel it into something meaningful.

It was through LinkedIn that I discovered the world of blogging on Medium. This revelation led me to this platform, where I strive to keep my writing hobby alive and flourishing. ❤
