What I Anticipate from Apple's September 7 Event

Chapter 1: What to Expect from Apple
The excitement is palpable as Apple has officially scheduled its next event for September 7, under the intriguing tagline “Far Out.” While it’s tempting to dive into what the invitation might hint at, it’s often just a clever ploy from Apple, so I’ll refrain from speculation.
Instead, I want to share my personal wishlist for the upcoming presentation at the Steve Jobs Theatre, marking Apple's first in-person event since the pandemic began. As always, my expectations are modest.
This paragraph will result in an indented block of text, typically used for quoting other text.
Section 1.1: Upgrading to the iPhone 14 Pro Max
I’ve recently decided that my next smartphone will be the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which seems like a safe bet for this year.
Goodbye, iPhone 13 mini
My current device, the iPhone 13 mini, is considerably smaller and lacks the features I now require. With the mini series seemingly discontinued and my upcoming vlog channel needing a powerful, battery-efficient smartphone, switching to the Pro Max feels inevitable.
However, I do need to justify the hefty price tag. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will likely come with a steep cost, and while I appreciate Apple’s efforts to enhance its camera technology across models, I hope to see some exclusive features for the Pro Max this time around.
Subsection 1.1.1: Surprising Alternatives
I must admit, I’m surprised by the alternatives out there.
Section 1.2: Revitalizing the Apple Watch Experience
My Apple Watch is no longer my go-to device; it has been replaced by the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro, while I also wear a WHOOP 4.0 health tracker. I’ve recently shifted my focus to fitness technology and have become somewhat disenchanted with the Apple Watch, which I've worn since 2015.
While it has evolved into a fantastic companion for the iPhone, it has also become somewhat mundane. I’m eager to see innovation in this space—something to reignite my interest. If the rumors are correct, we may be introduced to an 'Apple Watch Pro' this year, which could really shake things up.
Chapter 2: New AirPods Pro and AR Innovations
Video Description: The Apple Event on September 7 promises to unveil exciting new products, including updates to AirPods Pro.
With my current AirPods Pro in a sorry state—one of the silicon tips has broken, and the battery life is dwindling—I'm ready for a new pair. Recently, I've been using the OPPO Enco X, which outperforms the AirPods Pro in sound quality and value.
As wireless lossless streaming becomes more prevalent, I’m eager to see what Apple has achieved with the next generation of AirPods Pro, particularly regarding audio codecs and any innovative features they might introduce.

A Potential Look into Augmented Reality
The event invite’s phrase “Far Out” may hint at some AR-related announcements. The imagery of galaxies and stars in the invite could suggest a connection to Apple's long-rumored AR operating system.
While we may be some time away from a full AR product launch, I’d love to get a preview of Apple’s plans in this area to set the stage for developers and consumers alike.
Final Thoughts
I feel optimistic about my predictions, although I suspect that the AirPods Pro might only see a minor update through a quiet press release next year. I'm curious to hear what you're looking forward to at the event. Are you excited about a notch-less iPhone, or are you hoping for something more groundbreaking from Apple? Let’s discuss in the comments!
